He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Elkins and Loraine Elkins; his sisters, Carolyn and Judy; and his nephew Jason Kiser.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dianna Matsumoto (David), Susan Kiser (Dennis) and Alan; his brothers-in-law, Dunsmore, Ron Elkins (Barbara) and Scott Elkins (Kathy); and his daughter Amy (Paul Powell).
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home-Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
