He is survived by: his children, Johnny Smith and Michelle Ryder (Jason); his grandchildren, Jake and Ella Ryder; his siblings, Gary Smith (Betty) and Wanda Hutchison (John); his siblings-in-law, Faye Smith and David Cox (Sarah); and his cousin Tommy Warwick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
