He was predeceased by: his father Richard Polk Mitchell Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Ima "Judy" Mitchell; his siblings, Lisa Rigdon and Richie Mitchell (Sherry); and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Josh, Shane Mase, Wendi Ramsey and Amelia Rigdon.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home, Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:45 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
