He was predeceased by: his parents, Sallie Buell Roberts and Robert Newton Roberts (Bob); his brothers, Robert Mc Arthur Roberts (Mac) and Ray E. Roberts; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Still and David Burnette.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Seal Roberts; his children, English Beth Roberts Barker (Jack) of Knoxville, Micca Rachel Roberts Riedel (Chris) of Orange, Texas and Noel Melinda Roberts Smart (Jeff) of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Ashton White (Jordan), Spencer Charles Moore, Lillian Riedel, Josephine Riedel, Payton White and Jordan Noel White; and his sister Rachel Roberts Smith (Doug) of Oliver Springs. He is also survived by his nephew and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:45 PM. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Rose Funeral & Cremation Broadway (1421 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (5901 Lyons View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
