He was predeceased by: his parents, Connell Irwin and Ann Irwin; and his siblings, Beverly, Curtis, Buddy and Bill.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Margaret, Chris (Hadassa) and Travis (Ashley); his grandchildren, Nikki, Jake, Ryan, Trevor and Grace; and his sisters, Ann (Doug) and Milly (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
