He is survived by: his wife Gail Lynn Sanning (Hilterbran); his mother Sharon Rogers; his siblings, Gary "Ed" Sanning and Sharry Luneke; his sons, Kyle, Cody and Cory; and his grandchildren, Aailey Beth, Addy May and Lane Olen.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Edgewood Cemetery (219 S Gallaher View Rd, Knoxville, TN 37919).
