She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Joslyn and Margaret Joslyn; her siblings, Floyd Joslyn and Mary Wolf; and her son Ralph Shaw.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Shaw; her sister Sherry Bashaw; her children, William Allen (Virginia), Angela Allen and Elizabeth Lambert; her grandchildren, Andrea Allen, Gabriela Allen, Bill Allen (Ashley), Jessica Hiraldo, Liliana Hiraldo and Johnathan Lambert; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Allen, Levi Allen and Jude Allen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rose Mortuary (1421 N Broadway, Knoxville, TN 37917). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the East Tennessee Veterans' Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
