He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Glenn Grubb and Mary Teague Grubb; his stepmother Dora Grubb; his parents-in-law, Andrew and Essie Bedwell; his siblings, Monroe Grubb (Hazel), Glenn Grubb (Doris), Wanda Langston, Robert Hub Bedwell (Billie) and Jerry Bedwell (Poochie); and his brother-in-law Bill Bedwell.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Grubb; his daughters, Joy Anderson and Jill Shelton; his grandchildren, Linsay Gregg (Timmy), Justin and Jason Shelton; his great grandchild Gabriel Gregg; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Bedwell. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
