She is survived by: her husband David Gordon Smith; her children, Sarah Elizabeth Mayes, Andrew Travis Mayes and Benjamin Stewart Mayes (Vita Lam Mayes); her grandson Landon Alexander Mayes; and her siblings, Patricia Davis Marquis and Arthur C. Davis Jr. (Sandy).
