He is survived by: his wife Mary Gibson; his children, Curtis Gibson, Jr. (Nikki Jenkins), Brittany Gonzalez (Carlos), Joseph Gibson (Krystal) and Audrey Lowe (Peyton); his stepdaughters, Tina Wormsley, Amy Whitaker, Tanesy Rainwater and Katie Wilkerson; and his brothers, Brian Gibson (Hattie) and Damien Gibson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A committal service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
