He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis "Jerry" Gainer and Edna "Ruth" Gainer; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his wife Nora Garrigan Gainer; his children, Jesse (Jessica) of Huntsville, AL, Jackson (Ryan) of Knoxville, TN and Alex (Tam) of Walnut Creek, CA; his grandchildren, McKenzie and Gavin; his sister-in-law Judy Gainer of Draper, UT; and his brothers, Willis "Mont" Gainer (Cathy) of Albuquerque, NM and Dan.
