He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sr. Dexter and Cora Dexter. He is survived by: his sister Carolyn Aguilar; his sister-in-law Debbie Dexter; and his nieces and nephews, Peter Aguilar, Eric Aguilar, Sean Dexter, Tommy Dexter, Joe Coomer, Christie Dexter, Sonya Dexter and Deana Shockley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920).
In lieu of flowers, Darrell requested that donations be made to Ms. Cheryl Weaver, Activities Director, Island Home Park Health and Rehabilitation, 1758 Hillwood Road, Knoxville, TN. 37920.
