He is survived by: his daughter Margaret Reese; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Snelson, Shirley Yarber and Steve Snelson; his significant other Pam Allen; his daughters, Kim Smith (Dave) and Rachel Allen; his grandchildren, Brittany Overton (Kristen), LeAnne Smith, Tim Smith (Maria) and Porter Allen; his great grandchildren, Preston Smith, Jacie Girardin, Alexis Smith, Kinslee Jennings and Oliver Smith; and his brothers, Bill Snelson (Jackie), Lloyd Junior Snelson, Carl, Sam, Emmitt and Merritt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
