He is survived by: his stepmother Irene Holt Smith; his wife Linda Rogers Holt; his son Brian Holt (Jennifer); his pets, Max and Mitzi; his granddaughters, Bentli and Bryli Holt; his sister Patty Gerardot; his niece Heather Rouns (Chad); his nephew Jeremy Shearer (Milita); his great-nephews, Aiden, Logan, Owen and Joel; his brother-in-law Dave Rogers; his extended family, Gary, Joan Schuler, Richard (Teresa), Karl (Diana), Julie (Steve), Tristan, Jadon, Paul and Griffin; his close friends, Joe Ballangee, Karl Westerman, Pat Wilke (Teresa), Jeanne Kidd (Mark), Michael Mays, Mike, Debi Gunter, Paul, Perla, David and Cedric Bird; and his caregiver Shaunda Jones.
