He was predeceased by: his father Charles Casper Kerns. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Kerns; his children, Dr. Charli Kerns Elder (Josh), Meryl Kerns (Curt), Rebecca Wooden, Ovince Saint Preux, Alex Wooden and Patrick Wooden; his grandchildren, Kendall Frances and Derek Molter; his siblings, Dee Manning (Tim) and Don Kerns (Michelle); Mildred "Midge" Kerns.
A reception will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Graystone Presbyterian Church (139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920).
