With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Swanson of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2026 at the age of 68. As we bid Deborah farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Deborah is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Furman Swanson and Irene Swanson (Charles Muse); and her brother Toby Swanson. She is survived by: her daughters, Meagan Brakebill (Marshall) and Belle Muse (Kiefer); and her grandchildren, Savannah Large, Elyssa Large, Georgia Brakebill, EllaKate Brakebill and Adele Brakebill.
