She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nastally and Mary Nastally; her son Robert Thomas Seffernick, Jr.; and her siblings, John, Bob, Bill Nastally and Jean Bietelschies.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Seffernick; her sister Gloria Meert; her children, Catherine Palmieri (John), Matthew Seffernick (Traci) and Sarah Norris (Kevin); her grandchildren, Diane Palmieri (Julien), Marihelen Pelletier (Anthony), David Palmieri, Jeffrey Norris (Brianna), Jennifer Truong (Anthony) and Joel Seffernick; and her great grandchildren, Emmalynn, Lincoln and Jane. She is also survived by in laws, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus (711 S Northshore Dr, Knoxville, TN 37919). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919).
