He is survived by: his wife Coralee Proaps; his son Ronnie Proaps (Tammy) of Halls, TN; his grandchildren, Linsey, Aiden and Seth Proaps; his great grandchildren, Ariona and Ace Proaps; his sister Helen Bryson (Jeff) of Martin, TN; and his sister-in-law Betty Campbell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Cremations Middlebrook Chapel (9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stoney Point Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (12424 Couch Mill Rd, Knoxville, TN 37932).
