We announce the death of Donna Sue Wright of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2026, at the age of 83. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robbie Ward Miller and James Rufus Miller; and her parents-in-law, J. B. and Ella Mae Wright. She is survived by: her husband David B. Wright; her daughter Robin Wright-Griffin; her granddaughter Lainee Griffin (Braxton Dockery); Grandonna. She is also survived by many close friends, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Manor House (1082 Evelyn Mae Way, Knoxville, TN 37923).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Tennessee, American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
