Douglas leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Douglas’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Douglas will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Millsaps and Berniece Millsaps of Gatlinburg, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his son Stephen (Rebekah); his grandsons, Riley and Graham of Knoxville, TN; and his sisters-in-law, Myra Molgaard (Tim) and Trish Wilson (Tony).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Berry Highland Memorial Westwood Chapel (5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Gideons International or to First Baptist Church Lenoir City.
