He was predeceased by: his mother Odelite Carden; his grandparents, Nellie Lou Webber and Bert Webber Sr.; and his father Robert Owen Carden. He is survived by: his wife Cecilia Carden; his children, Kimberly Waggoner (Ken) of Clinton, Mark Carden (Carol) of Knoxville and Debbie Glenn (Matt) of Cartersville, GA; his grandchildren, Sydney Davis (Travis) of Vietnam, Molly Waggoner of Knoxville, Tanner Carden (Madison) of Powell, Emma Glenn (Milad Jabbari) of Acworth, GA and Olivia Glenn of Cartersville, GA.; and his great grandchildren, Mikah Davis of Vietnam and Miller Carden of Powell.
A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens (160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849).
In lieu of flowers, Mr. Carden requests donations be directed to St Jude's Children's Hospital of Memphis.
