He is survived by: his wife Sonja; his daughters, Dr. Sandra Strigel (Professor Tim Nichols) of Liverpool, England and Miriam Coultas (Mark) of Knoxville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Sophia, Ellie, Skylar and Kyan.
