He was predeceased by: his mother Carla Thomas Sampsel; and his grandparents, Jeanette, Hesco Thomas, Sheila Eastridge Melhorn (Jess) and Roy Lee Sampsel (Sam).
He is survived by: his father George Evan Sampsel of Atlanta, GA; his brother Zackary Thomas Sampsel (Brittany) of Powell, TN; his nephew Lennox Gray Sampsel of Powell; his uncle Joel Sampsel (Michelle); and his cousin Aaron Kesterson. He is also survived by numerous family members including great aunts and uncles, as well as many special cousins and close friends.
