He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lori Powell Thumler; his children, Abbie Thumler-Robins (Cliff Robins) of Durham, NC and Alexander Thumler; his grandson Shiloh Thumler-Robins of Durham, NC; his sister Maria Gall Knoxville (David); his nephew Jim Gall Knoxville (Kacie); his great-niece Monica Larger (Aiden) of Miami, FL; his brothers-in-law, Hobie Powell of Johnson City, TN and Jim Powell of Gray, TN; his nephew Walker Powell (Olivia) of Johnson City, TN; his niece Caroline Powell of Johnson City, TN; his parents, P. Fritz Thuemler (Alexander) and Elizabeth Thuemler; and his brothers, Iwer Thumler New Haven (Marta) and Carlos Thuemler (Caridad).
