He was predeceased by: his wife Judy; his parents, Howard Montgomery and Patsy Kelly; his brothers, Timothy Montgomery, James Montgomery and Howard Montgomery Jr.; and his brother-in-law Wayne Ketner.
He is survived by: his sisters, Angela Ketner of Loudon and Tina Galyon of Loudon; his stepmother Jessie Montgomery; and his stepbrothers, Eric Purgason of Knoxville and Chris Purgason of Knoxville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
