He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Peterman (Pete) and Martha Plemons Peterman; his brother Scott Peterman; and his nephew Jonathan Hise. He is survived by: his wife Karen Thompson Peterman; his siblings, Soozi Hise and Scobey Peterman (Shari); his sister-in-law Lana Peterman; and his siblings' children, Jessica Peterman, Austin Peterman (Megan), Christopher Hise (Angie), Joseph Peterman and Josh Walker. He is also survived by 3 great-nephews, 1 great-niece.
Family and friends are asked to remember him with a donation to East Tennessee Children's Hospital.
