He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Burnett and Eulala Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Jane Thomas; his daughter Lindsey; his son-in-law Eric Hildebrand; his son Barrett; his daughter-in-law Sasha Thomas; his grandchildren, Cole, Layla Hildebrand, Gia, Lily, Bella and Audrey Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Karen Bearfield (Rickey), Christian Bearfield and Kayla Bearfield (Sam); and his nephew Jack.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (11704 Kingston Pike, Farragut, TN 37934). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Union Cemetery of Newport (420 Mineral St, Newport, TN 37821).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Concord.
