He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Jean Kinter; his parents, Eunice Kinter and Carl Kinter; his son Richard James Kinter; his stepsons, Gene and Tom Driskill; and his siblings, Arthur Kinter, Lynn Kinter-Brinson, Sonja Kinter-Nuff and Melba Kinter Doggett.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Rob Emery (Melanie) of Kentucky, Tim Erickson (Anna) of California, Dawn Dodge (Kevin) of Texas and Vikki Huff (Gary) of Alaska; his stepchildren, Albert, Beverly and Angela; and his close friend Kathy Coleman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
