She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence K. Cottrell and Ruby Cottrell (Glenn); her brother Clarence M. Cottrell; and her former husband Richard H. Meschendorf, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard H. Meschendorf, III (Joy), James K. Meschendorf (Stacy) and Martha Wilds (Mike); her grandchildren, Jonathan Meschendorf (Katie), Helen, Grant Wilds (Brittani) and Matthew Meschendorf; her great grandchild Richard H. Meschendorf, IV; her sister-in-law Carolyn Cottrell; her cousin Ginger Mayfield; and her nephew Alan Cottrell. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and special friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Children's Hospital Oncology Department.
