He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Walker; his parents, Bill Walker and Lizzy Mae Walker; and his brothers, R. G. and Johnny Walker.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Judy Walker (R. G.); his siblings, Callie Walker, Roger Walker (Ethel), Jack Walker (Sue), Joe Walker (Donna) and Jim Walker; his nieces and nephews, Tonya Hatmaker (Carlos), Penny Geames (Ralph), Stacey Day (Jay Shupperd), Jennifer Sulfridge and Braxton Ryder; his great grandchildren, Tosha and Curtis Haley (Gage); and his grandchildren, Dallas, Samantha Day (Declan), Chad, Tammy Hatmaker, Kaitlyn, Mason Woodard, Abby, Cody Lankford, Wesley, Jala Hartness, Alexis, Malorie, Nathan, Mahayla Geames and Adam Geames (Laiklynn).
Even in his passing, he continued to give to others through the gift of tissue donation, a final act that reflected the generosity he showed throughout his life.
