Howard Cain Obituary

In loving memory of Howard Cain of Knoxville, Tennessee, who departed this world on June 12, 2025 at the age of 89. Howard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. As we bid adieu to Howard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Howard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Cain and Josephine Cain; his brother Raymond Cain; and his great grandchild Carter Headrick. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Loretta" Cain; his children, Howard Richard Cain (Robin), Timothy Allen Cain (Dea) and Stephanie Renee Headrick (Kyler); his grandchildren, Kylie Morgan Cain (Sam Scott) and Megan Ashley Cain; and his great grandchildren, Kamden Headrick and Korbin Headrick. He is also survived by loving brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, along with many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Halls Chapel (4131 E Emory Rd, Knoxville, TN 37938). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
