He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Park Niceley and Virginia Whisman Niceley. He is survived by: his sister Lucie Niceley Mays; his nephews, Park Niceley Mays and James Julian Mays Jr. (Adele); and his great-nephews, James Julian Mays III, John Fletcher Mays and Jefferson Grey Mays.
