It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Alan Hammontree in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jack Alan departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jack Alan. Though Jack Alan may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Hammontree and Mattie Hammontree (Plemons); his wife Lynda Ray Hammontree; and his sister Patsy Hammontree. He is survived by: his sons, Thad Pardue (Margaret) and Evan Pardue (Karen); and his grandchildren, Dawson, Harper, Deklan and Asher Pardue.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (300 W 1st Ave, Lenoir City, TN 37771).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Jack to Trinity United Methodist Church (PO Box 606, Lenoir City TN 37771) or to a church or charity of your choosing.
