Jeremiah Isaiah Caudill Obituary

Jeremiah Isaiah Caudill passed into eternity on July 29, 2022 at the age of 32 in Knoxville, TN. He came as a blessing under the disguise of Spina Bifida to his parents Nancy & Phillip Caudill in Morristown, TN. He was immediately rushed to Children’s Hospital in Knoxville for his first surgeries. At less than a year old his family moved to Harrisburg, PA, where he received care at Penn State U Medical Center. After moving back to Morristown, his parents divorced when he was 3.5 and later moved to Johnson City with his mother where he attended ETSU Child Study Center for kindergarten, and Johnson City Schools for elementary, middle & finally Science Hill High School. He later attended Tennessee Vocational Rehabilitation Center in Smyrna, TN, before settling in Knoxville.

Jeremiah asked Christ to come into his heart at age 3 & was baptized with his “Aunt Jillybean” at 6 and a half. During his life, he endured great pain & developed a threshold most cannot imagine because he hated the side effects of narcotic pain meds. He had over 74 surgical procedures, numerous hospitalizations and countless ER & doctor visits. He enjoyed making his nurse’s day with compliments, making sure his doctors treated them with respect & asking indepth questions. He wanted to be sure any patient with more serious, life-threatening issues were getting treatment before he did.

He stubbornly lived life his way with a passion for Legos, University of Tennessee Football, wrestling, calling & texting friends, M&Ms, music and drama. He was a charismatic, charming, caring person that easily made friends with almost everyone he met. He rallied against bullying and was supportive of veterans struggles and those who suffered depression. He loved to talk and enjoyed karaoke.

He was preceded into eternity by his Nana, Grandpa Joe, his fiancee, Nicole Burns, and several friends with Spina Bifida. Jeremiah is survived by his father Phillip and siblings Kelly Jo, Mena and James, his Grandmother Ann, Aunt Susan & Uncle Bubba, and Aunt Nancy. He will be cherished and missed by his mother Nancy, his beloved therapy cat Cali, Papaw Al, Uncle Hooper, Aunt Beth, Grandma Lis, Uncle Fred, Aunt Sally, friends Conley, Amber, Tim and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on his birthday, Friday, December 9th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at one of his favorite restaurants, the Smoky Mountain Brewery in Turkey Creek (11308 Parkside Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37934).. In his honor, the Bullfrog Foundation will be created to serve families of children with special needs starting with a developmental toy lending library.
