He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Lane and Luther Lane; his brothers, Ray, Archie, Don, Claude and Paul Lane; and his daughter Vicki Coffey.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Lane; his son Davy; his daughter-in-law Leslie Lane; his grandchildren, Nolan Lane and Madilyn Lane; and his sisters, Libby Elliott and Carol McCarter. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
