He is survived by: his wife Lourdes Solla DeRhone; his children, Vicky Williams (Jason), Elizabeth Edwards and John DeRhone (Amber); his grandchildren, Ethan, Zackary, Kameron, Annabelle, Jade, Lily and Jack; his siblings, Michael DeRhone (Brenda) and Vickie Hoffman (Louie); and his friend Andrea Gross.

“I'm so sorry for your loss. John was a great man. I worked with him for many years at Sunrise. He was so good to his clients and treated them like family. I learned alot from John. He encouraged me to apply for a waiver for my SN sisters. We were able to get it and I don't know what I would have done without that advice. I know he will be missed but you will be reunited someday. Love and prayers, Debbie Quillen”
