He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Turner and Charles "Topaz" Turner; and his siblings, Jim Turner, Louis Swaggerty, Ray Turner, Bobbie Kidd, Mary Lane, Linda Neff, Don Turner, Paul Turner and Jack Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dukes Turner; his daughters, Kimberly Shipley (Patrick) and Kristi Turner; and his grandchildren, Kelsie Shipley, Kaylin McGee, Kevin Walker and Kaleb Walker.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Sacred Ground Hospice House (1120 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee 37918) in John's memory.
