He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoyle Brown and Nellie Michaels Brown; his daughter Melanie Brown; and his siblings, Tom Brown and Patricia Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Witucki Brown; his children, Michelle Allen, Meredith Brown and William Witucki (Kasey Witucki); his grandchildren, Phillip Michael Brown, Madison Sewell (Mario), Katelyn Witucki and Conner Witucki; his great grandchild Elias Sewell; his grandson Christopher Allen (Amanda); and his great grandchildren, Caden and Kensley Allen.
