He was predeceased by: his wife Lynda C. Tallent; his parents, Royce Clifton Maloney (Sybil Johns Maloney Tilson) and Lawrence Tallent (Maggie Long Soloman); and his siblings, Merle Maloney, Jeanne "Pat" Clark and Lillian Soloman.
He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Penny (Adam); his granddaughter Jade Penny; and his siblings, Terry Maloney, Marvin Tallent, Billy Ray Tallent, Charles "Chop" Tallent, Ira "Chub" Tallent, Sadie Clifton and Margaret Chesney.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A masonic service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
