He was predeceased by: his wife Vera. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Ashley Beckstrom and Glenn Leonard Ashley; his grandchildren, Heather Schad and Ryan Poster; and his great grandchildren, Keegan and Baker Schad.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
