It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille S. Rayburn in Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Washburn, Tennessee, who passed away on June 24, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Homer Rayburn; her son Robert (Bobby); her daughter-in-law Christine Rayburn; her parents, Carl Sellers and Jathina Sellers; and her siblings, Eula Sellers, Bonnie Reid (Sam), Kathleen Clapp (Clyde), Delmas Sellers (Lorene), J. P. Sellers (Juanita) and L. C. Sellers.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Rayburn (Karen) and Karen Cardwell (Charlie); her grandchildren, Misty Bittle (Kinny), Liz Legere (David Wallace), Joseph Rayburn and Charlsea Williams (Brandon); her great grandchildren, Timothy Bittle, Tristan Wallace, Tucker Wallace, Georgia Rayburn, Brody Rayburn, Benton Williams and Carolina Williams; and her sister-in-law Pat Sellers. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Cemetery Are Free (160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849).
