He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathy Gray; his parents, Lyle Gray and Mary "Dot" Gray; and his stepson Bradley Oakes. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Gray; his daughters, Kaylyn Lewis, Kiley Bales and Bethany Bales; his grandchildren, Kinsley, Abel and Caroline Lewis; his siblings, Roy Gray (Denise), David Gray (Tammy) and Donna Swann (Bill); his uncle Bill Gray; and his nieces and nephews, Katrina, Trinity, Paige, Brittany, Matthew, Chris and Jimmy. He is also survived by many extended family members and very dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Evergreen Funeral Home (7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37924). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
