It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynda Jo Hinkle of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roderick Hinkle; and her parents, George Lemp and Helen Abernathy. She is survived by: her children, Clarke Hinkle (Michael) of Knoxville, TN, Tim Hinkle (Kristi) of Kennesaw, GA and Kelly Bentley (Jody) of Fort Valley, GA; her grandchildren, Richard, Madeline, Elizabeth, Tyler and Amber; her great grandchildren, James Walker and Mackenzie; her siblings, Janice McKenzie (Donnie) and Johnny Inzer (Linda); her sister-in-law Carolyn Hinkle; and her niece Kim Hinkle.
