She was predeceased by: her parents, Prater Kennedy and Willie Mae Kennedy; and her siblings, Anna Lowe, Charlotte Swafford, Bobby Joe Kennedy, Jim Kennedy, Johnny Kennedy, Ed Kennedy and Tom Kennedy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Carter (David) and Sandra Payton (Richard); her sister Margie Davenport; her granddaughter Rebecca Norris (Patrick); and her great grandchildren, Olivia Brown, Ayden Brown, Jacob Brown, Alice Carter, Nicole Roberts, Michael Roberts and Ashley Norris.
