She was predeceased by: her mother Gaynell Freeman; and her siblings, Lillan "Toonie" Alice Freeman, Cynthia Freeman and Leonard Dewitt Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Shante Southwood (Brock), Kornell Freeman and Demarlus Freeman; and her brothers, Sanford Freeman and Mark Freeman.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Freedom Fellowship Christian Church (4027 Papermill Dr NW, Knoxville, TN 37909). A burial was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
