We announce the death of Patrick Vernon Reedy (Knoxville, Tennessee), who passed away on July 19, 2026, at the age of 71. Patrick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Reedy (Hank) and Thelma Reedy (Ted); his uncle Vernon Reedy (Audra); his cousin Mike Reedy; Tim Butler.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Hilda Reed; his sisters, Linda Colvin, Bess Smith (David) and Dawn Butler; his nieces and nephews, Jenny Colvin, Reed Colvin (Nichole Del Nero), Lee Colvin (Meredith), Katie Ludwig, Ben Butler (Lacci), Nora Ludwig, Teddy Colvin, Crosby, Tate Colvin, Brooks and Bennett Butler; and his cousins, Mickey Presley (Ronnie), Jim Vaught (Dagmar), David Vaught (Mary), Shea Crabtree (Jason), Amber Culpepper (Todd) and Noah Ricker.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Second Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
