She was predeceased by: her parents, Milas Kendrick and Hester Minton Sheckels; her husband Marion Laws; her son Mark Steven Laws; her great grandchild Emory Tipton; and her siblings, Lula Johnson, Ann Cox, Mary Lou Thomas, Beatrice Sheckels, Viola Sheckels, Pascal Sheckels, William Benjamin Sheckels, Leonard Sheckels and Milas Sheckels.
She is survived by: her children, Donnie Laws (Anna) of Kodak, TN, Randall Laws (Barbara) of Jefferson City, TN and Robin Daniels (Greg) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Jason Laws (Kendie), Leigh Ann Gray (James), Melody Gilliam (Nathan), Sara Eiler (Chris), Blake Laws (Christy), Jeanette Edwards (Spencer), Jennifer Christianson (Ryan), Erica Tipton (Preston) and Isaac Russell; her brother Robert Sheckels (Eva); her sister-in-law Zella Sheckels; and her close friend Beverly Laws. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the building fund for Faithway Baptist Church, Knoxville, TN.
