With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ray E. Hodges of Knoxville, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ray left this world on July 15, 2025 at the age of 99, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ray may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ray touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise Roach Hodges; and his former wife Carolyn Owen Hodges. He is survived by: his sons, David Hodges (Lee Ann) and Randy Hodges (Julie); and his grandchildren, Ryan Hodges, Thomas Hodges (Janea) and Ashley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
