He is survived by: his daughters, Ruth Houts of Knoxville, Tennessee and Karen Hamden; his son-in-law Edward Hamden; his grandsons, Oscar of Roseville, Michigan. and Dylan Hamden of Roseville, Michigan.; his son Richard Houts II; his daughter-in-law Mellissa Houts of Roseville, Michigan; his granddaughters, Sylvia, Kelly and Kristal Boatman; and his great grandchild Jade Boatman.
