He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ray Thomas and Elva Harris; and his siblings, Ken Thomas, Steve Thomas and Barbara Pressley.

He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bohanan; his children, Rhonda Willis (John) and Stan Thomas (Rebecca); his sister Elizabeth Armstrong (Mike); his sisters-in-law, JoAnn McMurray and Brenda Warwick (Bob); and his nieces and nephews, Kim Lyon (Lee), Tammy Manis (Jimmy), Lacci Peterman (Mike), Mike and Ernie Pressley. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great great-nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
