He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Ray Thomas and Elva Harris; and his siblings, Ken Thomas, Steve Thomas and Barbara Pressley.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bohanan; his children, Rhonda Willis (John) and Stan Thomas (Rebecca); his sister Elizabeth Armstrong (Mike); his sisters-in-law, JoAnn McMurray and Brenda Warwick (Bob); and his sibling's children, Kim Lyon (Lee), Tammy Manis (Jimmy), Lacci Peterman (Mike), Mike and Ernie Pressley. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great great-nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fountain City Presbyterian Church (500 Hotel Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Emory Pike American Christian Church Cemetery (7416 Tylers Garden Way, Knoxville, TN 37918).
